A4060377 Petey is a four-year-old male brindle and white Pit Bull mix who was dumped at the shelter by his owner on November 19th, and was brought in with a horrible, heavy chain dangling from his neck. Weighing approximately sixty pounds, our volunteers describe Petey as a “gentle giant.” Sweet and friendly, his tail wags perpetually! This wonderful boy will make a great walking and hiking partner for an owner living in a private home. He is in kennel 434.

A4058990 Charlie is a tan nine-month-old neutered male Chihuahua mix puppy who was abandoned at the shelter by his owner on November 14th. He weighs around twelve pounds and is an absolutely perfect dog! Charlie is great on the leash and is very food motivated, so he will be easy to train. Sweet and affectionate, he has a medium energy level, loves to be held and petted, and gets along great with other dogs. Charlie will be an outstanding pet for owners living in private homes or apartments. He is in kennel 228. TRANSFERRED TO AGORA SHELTER!

A4058743 Ethan is a ten-year-old neutered male grey and black Miniature Schnauzer mix who was dumped at the shelter by his owner on November 14th. Weighing around fifteen pounds, this sweet boy loves people and other small dogs, but seems to be intimidated around bigger dogs. Although ten years old, this is still relatively young for a small dog. Ethan is perfect on the leash and will be a phenomenal walking partner for a senior citizen or family living in a private home or apartment. He is in kennel 235. TRANSFERRED TO THE AGORA SHELTER.

A4058728 Juno is a two-year-old black and tan female German Shepherd mix who was surrendered to the shelter by her owner on November 14th. Described by our volunteers as a “great family dog,” this fifty pound girl is very calm and gentle and loves both people and other dogs. Sweet and friendly, Juno also walks perfectly on the leash and will make a wonderful walking and hiking partner for families living in private homes. She is in kennel 332

A4058032 Clark aka Bart is a three-year-old cream-colored male Terrier mix who was dumped at the shelter by his owner on November 12th. Clark is initially shy but extremely sweet. He was likely mistreated in the past, as he is a bit “hand shy” until he gets to know a person. Clark gets along great with other dogs, and is very friendly and affectionate with people once he spends a few minutes with you and learns to trust you. This wonderful boy will make an excellent companion for a calm and patient owner living in an apartment or a private home. Clark is in kennel 240.

A4057906 Poncho is a nine-year-old male black and tan Chihuahua mix who was dumped at the shelter by his owner on November 12th, along with his sister, Skittles (A4057905). This fifteen pound boy has a medium energy level and loves to be petted. He adores people and gets along perfectly with other dogs. Although he is nine years old, this is merely middle age for a small dog. Poncho will make a fantastic pet for owners living in either apartments or private homes. He is in kennel 401.

A4057652 Katie is a five-year-old spayed female cream colored Terrier mix who was dumped at the shelter by her owner on November 11th. This sweet fifteen pound girl is very timid and shy and is frightened at being in the shelter. Although she is unsure of herself, she is very food motivated and should be easy to train. Katie needs a patient, experienced owner to build up her confidence and help her come out of her shell. Once she gets into a safe, secure, loving home she will make a wonderful, loyal companion for an adult owner in either an apartment or a private home. Katie is in kennel 308. A4056869 Pinto is a cute two-month-old brown and white neutered male Pit Bull mix puppy who was dumped at the shelter on November 9th. Sweet and gentle, this amazing boy will probably grow up to weigh around forty-five pounds. He loves people and is friendly and playful toward other dogs. Pinto will make a phenomenal companion for owners living in private homes. He is in kennel 219.

A4055992 Colette is a one-year-old female black and tan Chihuahua mix puppy who was abandoned at the shelter by her owner on November 6th. Weighing around fifteen pounds, this sweet little girl is quite scared at being in the shelter and is a bit shy at first. However, once she gets out of her kennel, she is friendly and affectionate with both people and other dogs. She will make a wonderful companion for owners in any living situation. A4055746 Rainbow is an adorable eight-month-old tan spayed female Chihuahua mix puppy who was dumped at the shelter by her owner on November 6th. This sweet twelve pound girl loves to be petted and held and is the perfect lap dog. She is a bit timid and uneasy around other dogs, but tolerates them without a problem and could definitely learn to enjoy the company of another small dog. A4055686 Leonard is a handsome one-year-old Shepherd mix puppy who came in to the shelter as a stray on November 6th. Weighing around fifty pounds, this sweet, friendly, affectionate boy is great with people and seems to like other dogs, but could use a bit of training with respect to approaching and interacting with them. Leonard is quite strong, but with proper leash training he will make the perfect jogging or hiking partner for an active owner living in a private home. Leonard is in kennel 239.

Weighing around twelve pounds, this sweet, friendly girl is calm and quiet, but has a definite playful streak when other dogs are around! Tilly loves to give kisses and appears to be housebroken as well. She will make a wonderful pet for owners living in either apartments or private homes. Tilly is in kennel 238.

A4052905 Maddie is a one-year-old red female Miniature Pinscher puppy who came into the shelter as a stray on October 28th. Playful and sweet, this fifteen pound girl loves other small dogs but seems to be a bit intimidated by bigger dogs. With a medium energy level, Maddie loves to be held and petted and will make a fantastic companion for owners living in private homes or apartments. She is in kennel 237. A3418728 Rambo is a five-year-old male black and tan German Shepherd who was left at the shelter by his owners on October 21st. This gorgeous sixty pound boy is treat-driven and very smart, and should be quite easy to train. He loves to be with people, but will probably do best as an only dog. Strong and athletic, Rambo will make a great hiking partner for owners living in private homes. He is in kennel 113.

A4049373 Johnson (a/k/a “Otis”) is a handsome five year old black and fawn male purebred German Shepherd who was dumped at the shelter on October 21st. Weighing approximately sixty pounds this medium energy level boy knows some commands including ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and is good on the leash. Phenomenally loyal, Johnson is very depressed at being betrayed and dumped at the shelter, and is a little tentative when he first meets you. However once he gets to know you he loves belly rubs and is quite playful. Johnson will make an excellent indoor watch dog and companion for a family living in a private home.
