Weighing approximately sixty pounds, our volunteers describe Petey as a “gentle giant.” Sweet and friendly, his tail wags perpetually! He weighs around twelve pounds and is an absolutely perfect dog! Charlie is great on the leash and is very food motivated, so he will be easy to train. Sweet and affectionate, he has a medium energy level, loves to be held and petted, and gets along great with other dogs. He was likely mistreated in the past, as he is a bit “hand shy” until he gets to know a person. Clark gets along great with other dogs, and is very friendly and affectionate with people once he spends a few minutes with you and learns to trust you. This wonderful boy will make an excellent companion for a calm and patient owner living in an apartment or a private home. Clark is in kennel 240.

This sweet fifteen pound girl is very timid and shy and is frightened at being in the shelter. Although she is unsure of herself, she is very food motivated and should be easy to train. Katie needs a patient, experienced owner to build up her confidence and help her come out of her shell. Once she gets into a safe, secure, loving home she will make a wonderful, loyal companion for an adult owner in either an apartment or a private home. Katie is in kennel 308.
