The following dogs were photographed on June 25, 2011 at the Baldwin Park Shelter in Baldwin Park California. If you are interested any dog shown here, please call the shelter at 626-962-3577 or 626-430-2378 or e-mail me at rescuethisdog@gmail.com

A4290421 Snoopy is a mellow five year old tricolor purebred neutered male Beagle who was found in La Puente on June 7th and brought to the Baldwin Park shelter. Weighing forty-two pounds, Snoopy walks well on leash and appears to have had some training. This medium energy boy is great with people but would probably be happiest as the only dog in a family. Snoopy will be a good indoor pet for any living situation. To watch a video of Snoopy please click here:

A4289516 Mercedes is a dainty one year old tan female shorthaired Chihuahua puppy who was found in El Monte on June 5th and brought to the Baldwin Park shelter. Slightly underweight at just five pounds, she is an affectionate girl who loves people. A perfect lapdog or purse dog, she also gets along well with other pets – we think she’ll be good with cats as well as dogs. Mercedes hasn’t had any visible training yet but she is smart and will learn quickly. Mercedes will be the perfect indoor pet for an adult living in an apartment or condo, and would be ideal for a senior.

A4288602 Indigo is a family-friendly five year old black female Labrador Retriever who was found in Covina on June 3rd and brought to the Baldwin Park shelter. Weighing eighty-three pounds, this girl is all about play! She loves to fetch, and is great with other dogs and people. Indigo could use some leash training, which will be easy because she is so treat-motivated and eager to please. Indigo will be the ideal indoor family pet for an active family living in a private home. To watch a video of Indigo please click here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DfGXBApKUo

A4281418 Che is a self-confident five year old tan female Corgi mix who was forsaken at the Baldwin Park shelter on May 21st when her former owners moved and made no provisions for their dog. Weighing twelve pounds, Che walks well on leash and appears to be housebroken. She adores treats and takes them gently. Che loves people, but is selective about other dogs and might be happiest as the only dog and center of attention. Che will be a wonderful indoor pet for an adult household in any living situation.
