A4229418 Georgina is a stunning 2-year-old blue andwhite female pit bull who entered the Baldwin Park shelter
as a stray on January 6th. This absolute doll is submissive
and rolls on her back for a good belly rub at every
opportunity. Full grown at approximately 65 lbs., Georgina
is interested in other dogs but has not exhibited any
aggression towards them. Like most pitties, she is 100%
love bug. Georgina also walks well on a leash and has a
medium energy level. Please open your heart to a loving
pittie girl and she will be a loyal best friend till the end!

A4229286 Bernice is a gorgeous 1-year-old blue and whitefemale pit bull who came into the Baldwin Park shelter as a
stray on January 6th. Sweet Bernice does not appear to
have had a good past, as her raw back paws indicate that
she may have been dragged. Bernice is frightened by the
stressful shelter life in which she now finds herself and
needs the comfort and safety of a loving home. Weighing
approximately 50-55 lbs., Bernice showed little interest in
other dogs and kept her tail tightly tucked for most of the
time that she was out of her kennel. She walked fine on a
leash, although we suspect it may have been her first leash
experience. This girl is a sensitive soul who is anxiously
awaiting a new life full of positive experiences. As we have
seen so many times in the past, these dogs blossom so
quickly when placed in a loving and nurturing environment.

A4229018 Delilah is a nine-month-old female Pit Bull mix puppywho was dumped at the shelter by her owner on January 5th. She
weighs around fifty pounds, has a gorgeous, shiny, black coat and
an adorable half black, half white face! Delilah is exceptionally
friendly and affectionate. She gets along great with other dogs,
but seems a bit timid at first around bigger dogs. She knows how
to sit and shake a paw, is very curious about everything going on
around her. She loves to walk on the leash, but needs a bit of
leash training. Delilah will make a fantastic companion for an
active owner.

A4228611 Lisa is a seven-pound, two-year-old blond femaleChihuahua mix who was abandoned at the shelter by her owner
on January 4th. She loves to be held and is the quintessential lap
dog. This medium-energy girl gets along well with other dogs
and walks well on the leash. She will make a perfect companion
for a senior citizen or apartment dweller.

A4228588 Marmaduke is a seventy-five-pound, one-year-old blueand white male Great Dane mix who was dumped at the shelter
by his owner on January 4th. As you can see, he has a very
unique half white, half blue face. This medium-energy boy is
very curious and interested in other dogs. He adores people and
loves to play ball. He is strong on the leash, but with some
training will make a great hiking companion.

A4228538 Chico is a gorgeous two-year-old brindle neuteredmale Pit Bull/Shepherd mix who was dumped at the shelter by his
owner on January 4th. This seventy-pound boy has a perpetually
wagging tail and knows the sit command. He is extremely
friendly and affectionate with people and gets along well with all
dogs. He is quite strong, but has a medium energy level and
walks very well on the leash. He will be the perfect walking
companion for a family living in a private home.

A4228369 Smokey is a one-year-old male Chihuahua mix whowas abandoned at the shelter by his owner on January 3rd. He
loves people and is non-reactive toward other dogs. He loves to
be held, but does not appear to have ever been walked on a leash
by his last owner. This mellow boy needs desperately to get out
of the shelter into a loving home with an owner who will take him
for walks and help him blossom into a happy, balanced dog.
Smokey would be perfect in either an apartment or a private
home.

A4227499 Brunie is an incredible 3-year-old black andbrindle female (spayed) Doberman Pinscher mix who was
surrendered to the Baldwin Park shelter on December 30th.
We suppose her owners realized that they didn’t deserve her
and decided that 2011 should be a better year for this welltempered
girl. Brunie is a volunteer favorite, as she is
incredibly sweet, quiet, and obedient. Weighing
approximately 60 lbs., Brunie is affectionate and simply
adores people. She is energetic but listens intently and
wants to please. Brunie knows some commands and
showed us that she is also a master at the game of fetch.
Brunie was non-reactive to other dogs and seemed much
more focused on pleasing our volunteers! We adore this
dog, who deserves a kind and loving family that will
appreciate her unique good looks and fantastic personality!

A4226932 Tiger is a spectacular one-year-old brindle male Boxerwho came to the shelter as a stray on December 28th. He weighs
approximately sixty pounds, but he doesn't know it and thinks he
is a lap dog! Tiger is extremely affectionate and gives kisses. He
is also quite energetic and seems to want to play with every dog
he sees. He is strong, but walks fairly well on the leash. Tiger is
very treat-motivated and attentive, and should be easy to train.
He will make a perfect companion for an active owner.

A4226684 Brady is a nine-month old male black and tan MinPin/Dachshund mix who came to the shelter as a stray on
December 27th. Weighing eighteen pounds, this happy-go-lucky
boy seems to have no idea he is in the shelter and just wants to
meet and play with everyone he encounters! Brady gets along
great with other dogs and walks well on the leash. He has a
medium energy level and will make a wonderful pet for an owner
or family in any living situation.

A4226273 Brownie is a gorgeous chocolate and tan maleTibetan Spaniel/long haired Chihuahua mix who came into
the Baldwin Park shelter as a stray on December 26th. This
7-lb. boy walks well on a leash and has a medium energy
level. Brownie loves to give kisses and loves to be held,
which is no surprise. He is fine with other dogs but like
many small dogs, tries to be a tough guy with bigger dogs.
Of course, Brownie is only trying to remind others of his
manliness! He is a happy-go-lucky kid whose tail is always
wagging enthusiastically. Brownie has a medium energy
level and has had some basic training as he knows the sit
command. Brownie is certainly not short of personality and
would love a human who can appreciate all he has to offer!

A4225989 Cupcake is a superb one-year-old brown andwhite female Chihuahua mix puppy who came into the
Baldwin Park shelter as a stray on December 24th. This
polite little lady weighs about 5-6 lbs. and is a classic lap
dog. Cupcake is extremely sweet, hence the name!
Although timid initially, she warms up as soon as she finds
a cozy lap and will blossom in a safe, stable and loving
home. Cupcake gets along well with other dogs and walks
nicely on a leash. She is well-mannered and quiet, which
makes her a great candidate for apartment life. Adopt this
precious girl and you will have no regrets!

A4225988 Jasmine is the cutest 1-year-old black and whitefemale Chihuahua mix puppy who entered the Baldwin
Park shelter as a stray on December 24th. This 12 lb. girl is
timid and withdrawn at the moment, which is likely due to
the stressful shelter environment in which she has found
herself. Like most little Chihuahuas, Jasmine loves to be
held and needs to feel safe. She warms up quickly once she
knows she can trust you and will need consistent
reassurance and TLC to fully come out of her shell.
Jasmine gets along well with other dogs and has several
kennel mates. Because she is quiet and low-energy,
Jasmine would make an excellent apartment dog. Please
open your heart to a fragile little girl who will undoubtedly
return your love tenfold!

A4225987 Pete is a two-year-old Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terriermix who came to the shelter as a stray on December 24th. This
sweet, eighteen-pound boy is absolutely terrified at being in the
shelter. He is afraid to walk on the leash and much prefers to be
held close by his human. He seems to get along just fine with
other dogs. He desperately needs to get out of the shelter into a
stable home so he can come out of his shell and learn what it's
like to be loved and pampered.

A4225734 Stewart is a ridiculously cute 4-month-oldbrown and black male Papillon mix puppy who came into
the Baldwin Park shelter as a stray on December 23rd. There
is simply nothing not to love about this lovely little boy.
Weighing approximately 8 lbs., Stewart will likely top out
at about 13-15 lbs. He is playful, affectionate and loves to
give kisses. A pleaser by nature, Stewart just wants to give
love and receive love in return. He has a spectacular
temperament, gets along famously with other dogs and was
described by one of our volunteers as an “absolute love
bug.” Stewart is smart, alert and easygoing, which makes
him a perfect candidate for a novice dog owner, but would
be an excellent companion for anyone.

A4225728 Clyde is a sixty-five-pound, one-year-old blue andwhite male Pit Bull who came to the shelter as a stray on
December 23rd. This energetic boy is very friendly and
affectionate toward people and gets along perfectly with other
dogs. He walks well on the leash and knows the "sit" and "lay
down" commands. Clyde is food motivated and could likely be
taught almost any trick! He will make a fantastic hiking partner
for an active owner.

A4225598 Kyle is a 1-year-old red male Miniature Pinschermix puppy who came into the Baldwin Park shelter as a
stray on December 22nd. This little 8-lb. boy is frightened
by shelter life and is calmest when in the arms of a human,
where he can give kisses and feel safe. Kyle is underweight
and could stand to gain another few pounds to reach a
healthy weight. This poor guy was likely neglected and
needs a nurturing environment where he can feel secure
enough to come out of his shell. Kyle gets along fine with
other dogs but certainly would not mind being the only dog
in his adoptive home where he can monopolize all of his
human’s love and affection. Please open your home and
heart to Kyle and show him that life can be splendid!

A4225563 Rambo is a beautiful two-year-old neutered maleRottweiler who came to the shelter as a stray on December 22nd.
Rambo is very strong and needs some training, but is very sweet,
friendly, and playful. He is affectionate toward people and seems
fine with other dogs of all sizes. This gorgeous boy will make a
wonderful companion for an owner living in a private home.
