A4225308 Shadow is a sweet one-year-old male tricoloredGerman Shepherd mix pup who was brought into the
Baldwin Park shelter as a stray on December 21st. This
soulful boy is underweight at approximately 45-50 lbs. and
needs to put on an additional 15 lbs. or so. As his name
implies, Shadow is quiet and calm. He walks well on a
leash and is good with other dogs. Shadow is timid and
withdrawn as he is probably confused and stressed in the
shelter environment. Though initially scared, he warms up
quickly and seeks affection from people. Shadow is a
volunteer favorite and is in desperate need of love and TLC.
Please adopt this gentle, good-natured boy and give him the
security and safety he so desperately needs!

A4225215 George is a stunning one-year-old white male Pit Bullmix who came to the shelter as a stray on December 21st. This
gorgeous boy is sixty-five pounds of pure muscle! George is
playful, energetic, and extremely affectionate. He gets along
perfectly with other dogs and is very treat motivated. With a bit
of leash training, he will make an excellent walking or jogging
partner for an active owner.

21st. This medium to high energy boy is curious and playful, but
once you pick him up, he melts into your arms and loves to be
held. He weighs twelve pounds, is friendly and affectionate with
people, and walks well on the leash. He would make a perfect
companion for an owner in any living situation.

A4225029 Boomer is an 8-month-old tricolor neuteredmale Chihuahua/Terrier mix puppy who came into the
Baldwin Park shelter as a stray on December 21st. This 15
lb. little man has beautiful markings! Boomer plays well
with other dogs, has a medium to high energy level and will
likely grow to be approximately 20 lbs. Boomer is super
affectionate and loves a good belly rub. Boomer is still a
puppy and would benefit from basic obedience training. He
is smart and alert, however, and will be easily trained.
Boomer has a wonderful temperament and is looking for a
loving home where he will be walked regularly and
showered with affection. Preferably, he would also have a
dog buddy with whom to wrestle and play. Boomer is a
total winner!

A4224493 Vinny is a three-year-old red and white Chihuahuamix who came to the shelter as a stray on December 19th. He
currently weighs around eight or nine pounds, but needs to gain
three to four more. Vinny is sweet, friendly, and active, but also
loves being held. This medium-energy boy adores attention from
people and gets along fine with other dogs. He walks well on the
leash, gives kisses, and would be a great dog for an owner in any
living situation!

A4224290 Georgia is a four-month-old red femaleShepherd/Retriever mix puppy who was surrendered to the
Baldwin Park shelter on December 18th. Georgia is an
absolute gem! This girl is a sweet, loving, happy-go-lucky
puppy with a fantastic temperament. Georgia is good with
other dogs and has been described as a fantastic make-out
partner! Like all puppies, Georgia would benefit from basic
obedience training and consistent exercise to channel her
puppy energy properly. Weighing about 20-25 lbs., Georgia
will probably grow to be about 40-45 lbs. In addition to her
wonderful personality, she is simply gorgeous and has sexy
black eyeliner! Georgia would love an active home with a
yard and even a canine companion with whom to frolic and
play.

A4223893 Princess is a super cute one-year-old femaleblack and tan Miniature Pinscher who entered the Baldwin
Park shelter as a stray on December 16th. Like most min
pins, Princess has a high energy level and is outrageously
playful! Weighing about 8 lbs., Princess is fully grown.
This little girl loves to be held, is incredibly affectionate,
and takes treats gently. Though energetic, Princess seems
to be rather quiet. She could use a bit of leash training, as it
is unlikely that she was properly walked in her former life.

A4223891 Henry is a stunning 3-month-old male red pitbull puppy who came into the Baldwin Park shelter as a
stray on December 16th. This handsome fellow weighs
approximately 15 lbs. and is full of puppy energy! Henry
interacts well with other dogs and like most pitties is full of
affection and non-stop kisses. He will likely grow to be 55
lbs. as an adult. Henry is playful and his tail never seems to
stop wagging. He’s just a happy dude with incredible hazel
eyes that melt your heart. Henry’s only wish is to find an
active family with a yard and possibly another canine
buddy with whom he can frolic! With basic puppy
obedience training, Henry will surely be a super star!

A4223543 Alice is an amazing one and half-year-old blackand tan female (spayed) German Shepherd who was
surrendered to the Baldwin Park shelter on December 29th.
Clearly, Alice was just too good for her prior owners, as she
is pure perfection. Alice is calm, has a medium energy
level and walks well on a leash. She gets along well with
other dogs and is friendly with all. Alice enjoys giving
kisses and pleasing anyone and everyone. She knows some
commands and is the model of obedience. Alice is a happy
girl whose tail is always wagging. A bit underweight at 65
lbs., Alice could stand to gain 10 lbs. We simply LOVE
this dog, who would likely make a fantastic family
companion.

A4222296 Lady is an adorable four-year-old female Chihuahuamix who came to the shelter as a stray on December 12th.
Weighing only eight pounds, she is incredibly sweet and adores
being held and carried. She is mellow, gets along well with other
dogs, and is great on the leash. In short, she’s perfect! Lady will
be a fantastic companion for an apartment dweller or senior
citizen.

A4221197 Simba is a handsome 1-year-old black maleChow Chow who came into the Baldwin Park shelter as a
stray on December 8th. This smokey-colored gentleman is
incredibly people friendly and a perpetual tail wagger.
Simba is fantastic with other dogs, walks well on a leash
and is most likely housetrained. Weighing approximately
35-40 lbs., Simba is a sweet, loving, happy-go-lucky guy
with a fantastic disposition. He has a slight growth on the
side of his nose that appears to be just a congenital oddity
but we think it’s just an outward sign of his unique and
special nature. Simba is a gem of a dog and would make a
terrific companion for nearly anyone!

A4220143 Tito is an11-month-old black and tan maleChihuahua mix puppy who came into the Baldwin Park
shelter as a stray on December 6, 2010. This adorable
fellow has a medium energy level, weighs approximately
6-7 lbs. and has one of the most impressive underbites
we’ve ever seen! Tito loves other dogs and has several
kennel mates. In addition to his fantastic underbite he has
tiny little white socks on his paws and rocks the “one ear up
and one ear down” look like no other! Tito loves to be held
and sit in a cozy lap, but also enjoys a good walk. He’s still
a puppy and would benefit from some basic leash training.
Tito is a consummate pleaser and will be easily trained. He
would be a great choice for an apartment dweller!

stray on December 5th. Weighing approximately 55 lbs.,
Blackie will likely gain another 5 – 10 lbs. until she is full
grown. She has a medium energy level and like most pitties
is super kissy and affectionate. While Blackie is interested
in other dogs she has not shown any aggression. She is a
smart girl who knows the sit command and will be easily
trained as she is a total pleaser! Blackie is playful and
would love to engage in a good game of fetch. Like all
puppies, Blackie would benefit from basic puppy obedience
training and would likely be at the top of her class. This
gorgeous girl has a fantastic temperament!

shelter as a stray on December 1, 2010. As his name
implies, Ernie is just a nice, docile boy with a happy-golucky
disposition. In addition to his adorable fold-over
ears, he is playful, affectionate and super kissy! Ernie loves
to play with other dogs and looks forward to finding a home
with a playmate who would engage him in a good game of
tug-of-war. Weighing approximately 6-7 lbs., Ernie is still
a puppy and could use a little bit of leash training. He
would make an excellent walking partner and has been
described by our volunteers as “a really good boy”!

A4217743 Chico is a 2-year-old male (neutered) fawn andwhite Chihuahua mix who entered the Baldwin Park shelter
as a stray on November 28th. Chico has beautiful markings,
an adorably crooked little nose and an underbite that rivals
Tito’s (A4220143)! He walks well on a leash, has a
medium energy level and is very playful with other dogs.
Chico weighs approximately 12 lbs. and is a kissing bandit
who enjoys a warm and cozy lap. He would be in hog
heaven if he could find a family with another canine
companion with whom to wrestle and play. Chico is an
easygoing, happy little guy who will make a wonderful
companion for nearly anyone.

A4198039 Marty is a 4-year-old male blue and tanMiniature Pinscher who was surrendered to the Baldwin
Park shelter on December 13th. This unique and handsome
gentleman is a loving lap dog at heart. Weighing
approximately 12 lbs., Marty is sweet, affectionate and
quiet. He enjoys a good walk and prances nicely on a leash.
Marty is fine with other dogs but would also be happy to be
an only dog and have a person or persons all to himself! He
has a medium energy level and knows the sit command.
This boy is incredibly special and the human who has the
pleasure of adopting him will discover that immediately!
